In Brief
I’m a biologist interested in evolutionary biology, macroecology and in the impact of climate change on biodiversity. I have expertise in a number of technical fields such as bioclimatic modeling, as well as some experience in molecular protocols. Evidence of my passion and dedication to science is that I simultaneously gained two BSc degrees in Biology (1st Class Honors, Dissertation mark: 100%) and in Engineering of Natural Resources (1st Class Honors, Dissertation mark: 100%).

Software Expertise
I have developed expertise in a number of essential software currently employed in quantitative biological research in evolution, macroecology and conservation. In particular, I have expertise in SPSS, ArcGIS, QGIS, Spatial Analysis in Macroecology (SAM), Biogeobuilder, Biodiversity Pro, Hidrognomon. Idrisi, Stella, Global Mapper, DivaGIS, GenGIS, RASP, ModestR, MaxEnt and Niche Analyst (NicheA). In addition, I am interested in the statistical software R, in which I am working to develop advanced expertise.
Field Experience
I have extensive field experience since 2006, visiting from the Atacama Desert in the north to Patagonia in the south, from mountains to sea, crossing different ecosystems such as desert, coastal desert, thorn scrub, deciduous forest, wetlands, marine ecosystem, Andean mountains, forests of southern and Chilean Patagonia.
